We have selected some delightful lodges that have at least two good backcountry rides nearby. The general formula is to arrive at the lodge on Friday evening and enjoy getting to know your hosts. After a breakfast of your choice on Saturday, from fruit, cereal, tea and toast to a full cooked breakfast, you will set off on a cycling adventure. A sumptuous picnic lunch will be provided. Return to your lodge in the evening to relax, shower and then to enjoy a well-earned home-cooked meal with your hosts. (If you prefer we will advise on local restaurants). Sunday follows the same pattern, but after the ride, showering and afternoon tea, you will have to drag yourself away! The consolation is that traveling home you will have time to plan your next cycling escape! Generally the rides can be tailored to suit, starting at around 30kms. We have lots of information about non-cycling activities if some people in your party are not so keen on cycling. Beach-walks, bush-walks, golfing, fishing, diving, horse trekking, kayaking, cafes etc. Just let us know what would make it special for you and we will do our best to help! Our weekend breaks start at $245 per person, including two-nights accommodation, bike rental, route-guides, all meals and GST. Incredible value!
