Begins near Leigh where you can feed the friendly fish (Bream – locally known as Snapper) at the Goat Island Marine Reserve. |

Cycle down to Pakiri Beach. You may even want to stay a night here and at “Pakiri Beach Horse Rides” in river-side cabins and take a horse ride along the dunes. Continue on to Mangawhai Heads for a well-earned bit of luxury by the sea! |

The next day takes you over the headland “Bream Tail” to the chic beach-side settlement Langs Cove, where folk from the “Big Smoke” come to get away from it all. Continue along the coast to Waipu Cove, (a great place for a swim!) and on to Waipu for lunch at the Pizza Barn ‘n Bar. |

Recharged you then have an easy cycle on to Marsden Point on the Whangarei Harbour to enjoy stunning views over to Bream Head. If you were keen you could of course join the Pacific Roller Coaster from this point! |
